Gerbe Recalled

by Anne

Completing the easiest travel time in history, Nathan Gerbe has been recalled to fill in for Thomas Vanek tonight.

I highly approve of this call-up because if this Royzie-Timmy-Staffy line stays together that leaves the highly skilled players at one line and then we're just the Ottawa Senators.

Can't wait to see how these lines shake down now.

He scored a really nice goal last night before getting ejected from the game and hopefully he can ease the pain at losing TV.

Somehow I don't think he'll be doing much screening of the goalie on the power play.

This morning I was like "they might as well recall Gerbe, 1. because he's got the skill and 2. because he only played like 8 minutes last night so he'll be plenty rested, haha.

  3. *tries to imagine Gerbs standing in front of the net in any scenario*

Oh God, he would be owned by the opposing goalie.
