It is my great pleasure to announce that Drew Stafford will indeed be returning to tonight's game against Ottawa. It must've been the delicious italian food Sara witnessed him consuming last night while she was out to dinner.
After ignoring nagging headaches after the Flyer's home and home, and getting bounced around by Chris Neil (how appropriate) dear Staffy missed the last 3 games, including the Ice Bowl :(. But he's back in the line-up tonight. Here's hoping he takes it easy and doesn't decide to stop pucks with his face or get into a 1 on 1 with any elbows.
All this line readjustment is rocking my world. I always loved the idea of Roysie and Pommerdoodle being linemates, and now it actually happens. They're permanently joined in my brain. Probably because they were drafted practically at the same time by the Sabres, played for Rochacha for a time and are now considered by most swooning teenage Sabres fans to be the team's Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter (circa 1999).
I'm glad Staffy is back but saddened that the Soviet Bomber is out. Max's been inconsistent but its never good to have to shake up the lines because of injury.
And with each passing day, we are closer to the reign of the king of all BAMFs....TEPPOOOO
