Do you think being captain this month will differ a lot from when you were captain in October? If so, how? - Anne in Buffalo

"There is a lot at stake in this month, but it’s up to the whole team and not only the captain."

Nevermind Yo-yo's lame typical hockey player answer, I feel much closer to him now. WOOOOOOO!!!

  1. Wow, Anne, I'm so jealous! I wish Yo-Yo would answer my phone calls! (Uh... texted questions. Yeah, I totally meant to type texted questions.)

As for the typical hockey player answer, I'm pretty sure they cut out the part where he went on to say, "However, in October Gambler was still in the country, and now that she's all the way in Germany, there's a rather large, Gambler-shaped hole in my heart. That makes it difficult, but I'm trying to play through the pain. I want to make her proud now more than ever."

    Awww, Yo-Yo!

  2. Exactly! He can't show that emotional wound to the world, his enemies would take advantage of his weakness. But we all know that you being in Germany is the REAL difference. Maybe you being in his home nation gives him strength!
