Random Stuff for Thursday Night

by Anne

  • Florida won 5-0 over Carolina. Florida now has 62 points in 54 games. We have 62 in 55. We're in 8th now
  • Ottawa beat Philly which is I guess good for us.
  • Did you know Chris Drury has been successful his whole life? Don't hold your breath, yes, that article mentions the Little League World Series in its first paragraph.
  • Ryan Miller updated his blog. He talks about the past month of games and the Catwalk for Charity. Funny, no mention of last night's game... In it we learn about his aspirations for pet ownership and his current relationship status.
  • Thank Thomas Plekanec for being suspended for two games, hopefully adding to the Habs distaste for winning.
  • The Sabres reveal to us what kind of car Ryan Miller drives. This has been "more than you ever thought you'd know about Ryan Miller" Day
  • Team USA is having a development camp thingy in Chicago this summer. My sister will be in Chicago this summer and I'm definitely going to try to go if any of it is open to the public. Its in mid-August and I think she'll be done with school by then. Darn.
  • Teppo is listed in the "Hot" column of this weeks Sports Illustrated Hot and Not column. Yer darn right he's "hot"

  1. Shit...you know I was really hoping for a win against Ottawa just incase we didn't win tomorrow night so we'd maintain our standings in the playoffs.

And Ryan could totally get dogs and bring them to my house for me to babysit. I have 3 dogs and they get along with everyone.

  2. I'm with Caroline... I don't live far from the Elmwood Village. I love dogs. I love hockey. Ummm... Instant dog-sitter.

I'm sure he'll have no shortage of puppysitters making offers, haha. I think the pull of play dates definitely swings things in your favor, haha.

  4. I so wanted to ask him if that's the truck he bought but I went DUMB... ugh... *smacking head* Jay is like one of the few certified to work on these trucks and was uber excited to hear he bought a hybrid and was curious to know if that is what he bought.

I hope Jay gets to work on his truck, that would be pretty neat.

So sad he wanted the puppy... he did too... he looked sad... someone buy this man a puppy so it can be his buddy when he is home... :(

I feel bad for people who can't have pets. I did't have a pet when I was in college but it didn't bother me because I couldn't have a pet. As soon as I moved into an apartment and could get a cat, I did.

Umm toooootally. I'd make up a business card and drop it in his mailbox if I were you. My friends Liz and Jen live right around the corner from him, I'm sure they'd help out when he was on the road.
