Taking a Bite Out of the Sadness

My friend and fellow vendor Jill and I had this conversation before the game.

Me: I really hope they win tonight.
Jill: They will, the City needs it.

She was right.

I got more excited than usual for each goal. THREE POWER PLAY GOALS?! Yay! And more sad than usual after each Sharks goal.

That was the most profoundly quiet moment of silence I've ever heard.

I know its just a hockey game but this win and the looks on people's faces as they were leaving tonight felt like this:


Sometimes its not just a game.
