Maybe Its Because We Were In a Bar

by Anne

But are we, the ladies of Sabretooth's House the only ones who thought the actual lighting of the torch was lame as all get-out? The rest of the ceremony was SWEET but I thought the Peter Pan fake running was lame.

WHERE'S MY BARCELONA ARCHER AT? My mom made me watch that in 1992 when I was 7 and its still the coolest lighting of an Olympic torch ever. Its totally nuts. I like it most because, just like the Olympics are, the lighting of that torch was pure human skill, not a LAME scrolling projection and flying wires.

  1. I agree. Totally and completely lame. It's too bad because I thought the rest of the ceremonies were pretty cool, if a bit too long. I especially liked the drums at the beginning. And, yes, the Barcelona archer was the all time best.
